I'm just wondering if there are any rules and restrictions for building the pine cars?  And, if so, is there a downloadable copy of said specifications?

Yes, there are specific rules for our Grand National Pine Car Derby. But if you are doing a pine car derby for your own church, you get to decide on the final rules for your race. However, if you plan to send your top cars to the Grand National, I would suggest that you follow our rules for constructing the cars so that the same cars could qualify for the Grand National Race.
